I can start by saying that I have always had a passion for image, style, makeup, etc. BUT that would not be the whole truth.
So, who is Ciska Jansen and why Ultimate Image?
From a young age I had to fight for acceptance from family, friends, and colleagues – Never feeling good enough or accepted for who I was. I found myself trying to prove that I was worthy of their attention and in the process lost myself and who I was created to be.
I ended up with little self-worth and a low self-esteem, and while I was always aware of my appearance, I never really made an effort. During the first 10 years of my career in the hospitality industry I experienced moments of rebellion towards the ‘corporate image’ of the companies that I worked for and yes, suffered the consequences of my attitude in this regard. It was during this time that the seed of the importance of appearance was planted.
God says in Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
So, what am I trying to say?
God used my disregard for my appearance and the consequences that I had to suffer and turned my weakness into my passion.
In the past 7 years I have discovered my personal style, I realised the power of wearing the correct colours. But more than that, I have been through a process of dismantling. Dismantling what I believed about myself. Dismantling who I believed I was. Dismantling where I was trying to find my worth.
So far…
I am discovering my true identity and who God has created me to be.
I have realised the power of Image.
I now pay attention to my image, INSIDE and OUT.
I have learnt that I cannot do it on my own and that it’s a necessity to ask for help.
I have learnt to not look for my worth in family, friends, or colleagues.
I have learnt to make THE CHOICE the most important act each day.
Like with each one of us… I have not “arrived”.
I am a work in progress.
My passion to equip, empower and encourage woman was birthed in this process and the field of Image Consulting and Makeup Artistry has made this possible.

Our consultation can be done one-on-one or in a group setting where we empower our clients by equipping them with the skills and knowledge to pursue their uniqueness. Supporting them on the journey of discovery. This experience is simplified and documented with the use of the one-of-a-kind, Pocket Stylist app from SA Image.

This is the start of your effortless style journey, where we will help you discover and embrace your unique style personality. No more standing in front of your wardrobe full of clothes, having nothing to wear.
We will analyse your vertical and horizontal body shape, face shape, colouring and personality while taking your and budget into consideration. Information and advice given during the session are documented on the Pocket Stylist App, meaning all the knowledge gained will be easily accessible when you need it.

See your existing clothing items in a new light and discover new combinations that you would not normally consider. We will advise you on the basic clothing items needed to form the core of your wardrobe and how to change up your outfits with the correct use of accessories and shoes.

You will be accompanied by a consultant during your shopping experience and given advice and tips on clothing choices and styles while taking your style personality and results from your Style and Colour Consultation into consideration. In the long-term and through this process you will save money by making the right purchasing choices.
With the correct makeup products and application techniques you will learn to enhance the features you have been blessed with. Though wearing makeup does not determine your worth, it is a powerful tool that can give you much needed courage and confidence and you can look on point all the time. Share this experience with friends or family or even invest in the bride-to-be and friends for her bachelorette.

Do you feel the season for an updated image has come? Do you need a boost in confidence? Are you ready to discover the ultimate you? We will take you through the full process. Style and colour analysis, wardrobe planning and shopping (on your budget).
Based on your face shape and skin tone we will make suggestions for hairstyles and colour best suited to your unique features.
You will gain confidence in correct makeup products for your skin type and colouring and the correct application to enhance your facial features.

Invite friends, family and/or colleagues to a full day of fun where each person receives the style and colour analysis in a group setting as well as a makeup lesson discussing makeup application techniques and products. Minimum 6 maximum 20 ladies.
Trailor-made seminars to equip, encourage and empower your staff to look and feel their best with the result of a more confident team and ultimately a well-represented brand. We customise a seminar to meet your corporate representation needs. Topics such as image, makeup and hair in the workplace, basic professional etiquette and body language are discussed during these seminars.
Our makeup artist is trained and equipped to make sure your subjects are camera-ready throughout the production shoot.
We know that this is one of the most important days of your life, so allow us to prepare for you for this very special occasion with one of the above or both for your convenience. Romantic, dramatic, and natural are but a few of the styles that we can produce. The offering includes a trial, to give you peace of mind that your makeup will be what you envisioned on your special day.
We use professional MUD makeup products applied by hand or airbrushed.
We also offer makeup and hairstyling for Matric Farewells, the Bridal Retinue, Photoshoots or any other special occasions.
